Hi! Like I've said on previous threads, I love Rose from Titanic's hair. Here are pictures of it:

Others have said that her hair is BSL, but it looks longer depending on how straight it is. Like here:

So I think the length depends on the curl (and her curls are not natural).

Can anyone guess her length and type?

I would call this midback 2c/3a, but as you suggested, the curl pattern looks very done and you can tell its probably much straighter when not styled.

^ is mid-back longer than BSL? Or about the same?

Mid-back is longer than BSL, and is about between BSL & waist. To me, at least!

I would say that to have hair that looked like that, it would need to be at a solid waist length when straight at least, although we need some real curlies to weigh in on it - just going from my experience with curling my own hair.
