My favorite bun is probably the messy one that pretty much everyone knows about. It looks kinda like this:

Problem is, I don't want to use regular hair ties in fear of causing breakage.

I have one of those claw clips that I like to use, along with fold over elastic hairties that are supposed to be better for your hair. I think my best bet is to use the claw clip.

Does anyone else have an idea for making this hairstyle less potentially damaging? :o

(Note: I'm using this for future reference, I'm excited for when my hair will be long enough to do this :D)

EDIT: Maybe I could do something similar with a hair comb? I don't like how they call claw clips ugly in this video though :p I love them!

Maybe it's just me but if I wanted to do a hairstyle bad enough I would just do it...If you do it carefully and not to often I don't think it will be bad for your hair...just be careful and you'll be fine.

^ I was thinking that too honestly, but it's really one of those go-to hairstyles for me that I would want to do every day  I think I'll stick with the claw clip for now, that seems like a good choice.
