Heat rash from hair?

Does anyone else get a heat rash from their hair? About half of the time I wear my hair down to bed and lately when I do, I have been waking up with a heat rash on the front of my neck! At first I thought it was my shampoo and conditioner, so I switched, but this morning I woke up with the start of one again. Anyone else? I guess I will just have to get use to braiding it for bed every night. I never had this problem when my hair was long before.

I say get thee to a doctor, before drawing any conclusions, before even changing up products, and before (goodness no) chopping your hair off in frustration.

Hrmmm. Yeah, I never heard of that. Maybe a doctor visit is in order. Is your bedroom hot while you sleep?

Bedroom isn't really hot. We just moved from Nevada to Washington June 1st and there is a difference in humidity. Also my hormones could be out of wack still. I'm breastfeeding my 4 month old. I will see a DR though. It's odd. Thanks for your input :)
