Twenty years

Hi all!

Today marks 20 years since my last trim. I have battled MPB for many years, so my length isn't impressive, but 20 years is a significant milestone. Although I thought I had reached terminal about 16 or 17 years ago, I have added about an inch over the last year, so there is hope for all of you who have stalled short of their target length!

My hair is quite thin, and isn't inclined to hang straight, but I am pleased that I can have a worthwhile ponytail at the age of 59.

Very impressive. Three years ago before I started minoxidil my ponytail may have been the size of yours (I never ponytialed or took pictures for comparision) and I was 46 yr old woman. So you are doing very well despite MPB. Comgratulations for persevering.

Thank you all - so many replies, and from so many icons. Your encouragement is very welcome. I certainly don't plan any changes - I intend to go on to 25, 30, who knows how many years! Yes, I was very ill with kidney failure last year, but am no doing well on dialysis. Looking forward to many more years of enjoying being myself

Another thank you to do many more of you for you support. I hope you all reach your goals, hopefully in a bit less than 20 years! I am oing to be on the list for a transplant (kidney and pancreas), so hope for further health improvements before too long. Thanks, too for all who have commented on the ponytail - it is definitely my trademark, and I plan to continue to wear it with pride.
