DIY Braided Ribbon Barrettes

I think these are so cute. Has anyone made some? I'm definitely going to. I just have to get the ribbon. I have those barrettes laying around.

Oh, the nostalgia! I will have to make some of these because I never had any when I was a kid, I definitely do not come from money. I always soooo badly wanted some! I used to sit behind the girls in my class and probably bored holes in their heads with my barrette jealous eyeballs. Do you think I could still get away with these @ 39? Hahaha, maybe just to wear around the house.

I remember making so many of these when I was young! I think they would be really pretty with sheer ribbons and little floral or jewel picks from the craft store on the end to cover the knot. I may have to go to Hobby Lobby tomorrow :)

I remember putting bells on the ends of the ribbons for Christmas. I also put tiny flowers on them too. Kitten I wish I would have known you. I would have made you some.

In my defense, I couldn't find the right barettes, the right ribbons AND I was watching Game of Thrones. So that partly explains the crooked braiding. Still, it was fun to do! Will make more.
