You might try a drop or two of Johnson and Johnson baby oil (mineral oil) to help keep them down. MO is very lightweight and washes out easily.

I was going to suggest a little aloe gel the clear natural kind.

You could try oil or gel, as mentioned above, but I've never found those to work. My hairs still stick up, only they now look greasy and producty, which makes it a lot worse in my opinion. I think it's easier to just accept that some of my hairs prefer to stand straight up or to the sides, and that sometimes(fine, pretty much every day) I resemble a crazy lion/poodle. ;)

More occlusives/anti-humectants (oils, butters, silicones) in your overall routine should help significantly with frizz and flyaways. Is your hair wavy or curly? If so, the Curly Girl Method will really help. Choose heavier conditioners and use light oils to seal moisture to some degree.

It is curly with some ringlets. What is a heavy conditioner?

By heavy conditioner I mean conditioner rich in oils, butters, and other emollient agents. Conditioners saying on the label that they are designed for "damaged", "dry", "curly", or "color-treated" hair tend to be heavy. Curlies usually benefit from conditioning and oiling a lot more heavily than straighties and wavies.

I really recommend checking out the LOC method post-wash, it was created for curlies and works pretty well: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=118167
Also, pre-poo oiling is something that can benefit your hair a lot, it lowers porosity among many other benefits: http://science-yhairblog.blogspot.ca/2014/03/oil-pre-shampoo-or-pre-wash.html
We have a great Wurly & Curly thread going on where people discuss issues like frizz in great detail: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=369

And I recommend reading up on the Curly Girl Method by Lorraine Massey. Many people successfully use ideas from her methods and do some modified CG.
