Coconut Oil Question

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, I can't find it anywhere. I did the coconut oil treatment on my hair last night and washed it out this morning, now my hair is crazy, really really soft, nice shine etc. but its full of static! My hair is sticking to my face and hands, follows it when i bring my hands up near it. Its as if I have my hands in a power socket, its actually sitting out from my head....its crazy i tell u!!! Has anyone else had this reaction>> I have fine fairly thin hair.

It probably doesn't have much to do with the oil. My hair is F too and it just gets that way from time to time. You could actually try just a tiny bit of oil on your hands and smooth it over the hair to get it to lay back down.

Yeah, it happens depending on how dry/humid it is outside, whether or not you are running a heater or air conditioner in the house, etc. I find the weather, and not product, is usually the culprit.
