I was looking at the hair type pics earlier and I'm starting to think I've got my hair type wrong. I was wondering if you all could let me know what you think my hair is? It's my ends that throw me. There are slight waves at the ends but I'm not sure if that really makes a difference, as the rest of my hair is not as wavy. Here's a pic (sorry for the poor quality!):

Is this a proper hair typing picture?

Well, I washed with a cone free shampoo and conditioner and let it air dry. I didn't comb or brush it at all.

Looks like 1b to me :) Maybe 1c.

Definitely 1c. And lovely.

1c, definitely. If your hair holds a curl or wave well (for example, if you end up with waves after braiding or bunning for the day), then you'd probably be a borderline 1c/2a like I am.

I agree on 1b, possibly 1c, but more 1b in my book.

Either 1b/1c or 1c is how you look to me. :) I have 1b hair, but it won't hold a curl at all, yours looks like it does, so I believe you are either between 1b and 1c or 1c. Lucky you! Lovely waves when you want, but less of poof than I've heard many curlies struggle with. Beautiful hair regardless. :)

I can't decide between 1b and 1c. I think it's kind of in the middle.

Thanks very much everyone! I myself have been tossing up between 1b and 1c, so at least I know I was on the right track :) My hair does hold braid waves really well, which is nice!
