Hair stick tutorials for mid back hair?

I'm looking for hairstlyles for mid back hair. Videos would be great! I can hardly get my hair to stay up with a hairstick so I'm not sure I'm doing it right. Anyway I'd love to know how to do a rose bun and things of that nature. Thanks everyone !

I'm at midback, and this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtXho_Av-08) bun is pretty much the only one I can do reliably.

Thanks! I think my hair might be a little too short for that one, it's about an inch and a half past BSL.
