Anything for a fellow DT fan. ;) But it really has grown quite quickly and I'm frankly jealous... I also might have to cajole you into sharing your hendigo recipe, as your colour is fabulously purple.

ShadowWalker, Kirin, and DulceDeLeche, thank you :flower:! RoseRedDead, I do the 2 step process. I'm still new to it so I haven't really done any elaborate recipies and concoctions yet, and just kept it simple and just mixed each with warm water. Its not purple in every light, though. Sometimes there is some deep warm blackish red, too.:)

Thanks everyone for your kind words :) :flower: my actual growth from when I first measured in may was 23," and now its at 27." Six or eight inches would have been nice though:p! Dont forget when you look at the pics, one is waaay smaller than the other. I couldn't enlarge it because its photobucket, I'm not on a normal computer, and it was an old avatar. Thanks again everyone for your awesome comments. :)

RavennaNight-
That is a lot of growth in only 4 months & it looks so healthy. Do you trim it often? If so, how much at a time? Also, what other oils do you use besides coconut oil? How often & long do you do scalp massages? I am going to use both coconut & jojoba oil and see how my hair takes it. I am trying so hard to grow my hair to hip length but my hair seems to only get to a certain length & then it splits & gets thin. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever reach my goal. Thanks for your time. Have a great day.

4 inches in four month. That's one inch per month. Double my speed lol
I would need atleast 8 months to get 4 inches , provided my hair doesnt break in the process.
Lucky you , mashalla :)

Thank you again everyone, you all rock :rockerdud:

JamieLynn40, On trimming, I did one microtrim back in June or July because I was finding lots of splits. Other than that, I S&D regularly. The Jojoba oil I mixed with a few drops of Rosemary and recently Lavendar and use it for scalp massage. I massage 5 minutes once or twice a week, usually in conjunction with a heavy coconut oiling of the length the night before washing. After washing I use the dollop of aloe gel and smooth it into my length and then seal it with a fingernailof coconut oil. I emphasize that because a little goes a very long way for me. :)
