I couldn't henna my hair because my henna turned out to not be henna, so after moping for two days, I decided to use Manic Panic instead. I've had two tubs standing in my closet since October, but I haven't dared to use them because I was afraid of the mess. :o
I started out carefully, sectioning my hair and only dying the bottom section with Infra Red. If it turned out terrible, it wouldn't be that obvious. Luckily it went really well.

I though the result was really pretty, so I decided to dye the rest of my hair too. I used the rest of the Infra Red on my grown out bangs and the bits in the front, and the rest was dyed with Rock'n Roll Red. They looked pretty different in the tubs, but apparently they end up looking very similar on hennaed hair. Ah well, can't complain. It's a nice change from the henna red I've had for the last two years. The colour is more pink/purple-ish in person, for some reason it doesn't look right in the pictures.
It will be interesting to see how fast it fades, considering that I use sls shampoo. I'm actually looking forward to it fading a little bit because the colour is very intense, and a bit harsh next to my skin. :o

WHoa it looks lovely <3 It will fade though; I'm not sure how much, but I think it's going to look perfect with your skin. I agree that it might look a little harsh right now because it's a little intense, but I still really like it :D

I dyed the lower half of my hair with Manic Panic(vampire red)-the hair was bright orange before. It turned out a darker red, but it did fade, so now it's a lighter red. I liked it darker on me because I have darker skin, but it's not that bad-inside it still looks darker, and it's only the lower ha;f on my hair XD

It looks very good actually! It's always shocking at first but you wear it well. I think its great you tried something just for fun ( well with a little henna issue push) You will get a ton of looks out of it from the different fades also. Right now the vibrant really makes the hair toys stand out beautifully. Your hair reminds me of jewels and rubys :) I think this is perfect for springtime adventure. Hope you really enjoy it while it lasts :)

Aww, thank you so much everyone! :heartbeat I may try some different MP reds when this one fades, or maybe some from Directions or Special Effects. I feel like I have so many options now! :D

Very pretty! It will probably fade a little bit or you'll just get used to it being so red and stop being so aware of it. I think it suits you very well. And i love those heterochromic eyes!

Thank you! :blossom:
RingletedManiac, yes, it's my natural texture. A bit stretched out due to the length and weight of my hair :)
