Hi folks, I haven't posted for a while! Good to be back.

Anyway, I was going to post this in the Henna forum, but it's kind of general interest (not henna how-to), so I thought it would be better here in the "Mane." Here's a beautiful example of henna creativity: "crowns" for those who have lost their hair through cancer treatment.

Lovely! I wonder how long they last? I recently had a henna hand tattoo, and it only lasted about 10 days.

Hands get washed a lot, which I'm sure makes a difference. I doodled on the tops of my feet a few weeks ago with un-terped henna, and you can still see most of it. My guess is that a scalp would last at least 2 weeks, maybe 3 faintly, if it wasn't scrubbed.

Of course, all bets are off if you start exfoliating. Which is why I don't have stains for ages from my sloppy henna applications. XD

just wow. Wish this had been around about 5 years ago. I would have so done it.
