First bun after last year's pixie cut (Finally!)

I know it's scruffy, but I had to post!

This is my first secure bun post-pixie. It's a cinnabun. My hair length (measured today) is at 17".

Lots of layers and nape shorties which won't bun up, but it's held by one stick and it's secure so I'm happy!

Also I knew giving up chemical dye was a good thing - this natural bun is about the same size as my dyed buns with 23" hair were, back when I used dyes. Yay for thickening up!

Awww congratulations! :D First bun is a very important milestone IMO, I just remembered the day i managed mine :) It's also awesome how you got it to hold with one single stick, well done!

Congratulations!!! I am really happy for you. I know what a relief it is to hit that milestone. Things feel so much easier once this is do-able.
How did you get the stick to hold? Was stick put thru the bun or was hair wrapped around the stick? I am struggling to make my sticks work since cutting to SL.

Erinleigh, the stick was put through the bun. I never could do the wrapping kind!

I honestly don't know where I got this stick. It just turned up in my collection...
