We've all been there (or maybe not, you lucky lucky devils) but anyway a lot of us have been there.

Bad layers, unfortunate bangs, short cuts that left us looking like Liza Minnelli in a bad way, show us your worst hair looks.

Hey at least it's funny in retrospect.

I call it "sassy over 40s short cut"

I don't have any pictures(though I have had some bad ones!), but I'll be lurking to look see some hair cut misfortunes ;) Also, I agree with kitten1030. you still looked gorgeous

I had a baby girl at the time and had a longer short cut, but my daughter could still get her sticky little fingers stuck in it, so I took my sewing scissors to it. Ha! Try grabbing that, baby. It was about 1 inch long all over. I did not love it, but it worked.

MadeiraD you could pull off any look. Classic features.

Great pics Spidermom! I think you look great. That first cut I recall having too. Luckily no evidence of it.
Oh how I wish I could find the pics of me with shaved head. I need to ask my parents. I am sure they have one.

MadeiraD and kitten1030 if your cats are twins, then mine is ya'lls cousin, lol.

Here is when I first cut my bangs. And I thought that "side swept" meant I should cut at an angle.

Well there was the time that I did locks of love a few years back and went from waist to just below my ear... And because my hair is thick and wavy it poofed out and frizzed everywhere! I'm sure I have a pic someplace, but it was really, really hideous. :(

Oh, and the pink is just a temporary hair mascara. I was hoping pink bangs would distract the eye LOL

Nadine[B/], I think you look great, I especially like the second pic! Oh and your hair has grown quite a bit since then! :D

[B]MadeiraD - You are so beautiful! Any style would suit you. If I had to choose a picture, I would choose the last one though, because I think anything face-framing would suit you even better. Oh and I love the names you gave the haircuts haha XD

One day, I cut my hair myself, and went from around BSL to a beautiful Amelie cut...it looked so terrible on me, I had to go to the salon to get it cut again, and that's when I got a pixie(luckily the stylist was really good, so the pixie actually looked awesome!).

Hahaha laughing my butt off over the Hasselhoff, genius edit :P

I had an iceskating mushroom in one of my growth stages very recently. Though I don't think it looks so awful on you MadeiraD!

My worst cut has got to be when I was 19 and I wanted a trim on my short layers, and I got a full mushroom head. I looked like a 1UP from mario... No pictures taken those months haha :P

Ooo, I've had this one too! You look a million times better than I did though, you can really pull that one off. I look terrible with short hair.
I had hip+ length hair before I got that cut, and I liked it for about 10 minutes. Then I realized that I looked exactly like my mom, which isn't particularly fun when you're 15.

My haircuts were usually just "plain" or mediocre... exept the horrible A-line bob I got in high school. Absolutely hideous and un-workable with my texture :grnbiggri.
Like a imploded mushroom topped with a generous dose of frizz. Not sure if I'll post a photo, my face was messed up by hormons... aaah, the joys of our teen years !

However, this totally destroyed the appeal of middle-lenght haircuts... they just don't do any justice to my texture.

Haybop: I happen to really like that cut! Edgy and cute.

Girl mullet (bi-level?) and upturned collar of the early 80s:

and my "Annie Lennox look" from the early 90s. I cut it myself with wahl clippers every three weeks:

When I was younger and stupider I asked for "lots of layers". I ended up looking like I had the thinnest hair ever. It was horrible. I ended up having the ends cut off, making it a chin-length bob with straight-across bangs, which didn't look that bad.
http://i.imgur.com/znmfdCm.jpg

I was growing out said haircut. There's no way to make the awkward inbetween stage it look cute.

I don't think my cut looked terrible exactly. It was cut back to maybe BSL with long face framing layers. I just found it regretful because if I hadn't done that in high school I would have been able to say my hair has never been shorter than waist. Oh well.

oh my god, I wish I had some more pictures of my hair in high school. I cut my hair myself from the ages of ~13 until ~18. So many nasty mushroom bobs, hacked pixies, and wacky dye jobs.
For example, here's a haircut I had at about 16. I just grabbed my hair (WITH NO MIRROR) and cut it off as close to my head as possible with thinning shears, the same length all around. This is maybe a month grown out from that point. But I did this to myself several times. Ugh.
http://i.imgur.com/9WoKORU.png

And... a recent big chop. This photo was taken a week or two ago. The hairdresser saved me from myself (I'd asked for shorter!) but I still ended up with Mom Hair. Just trying to be patient as it grows out again... :"(

Dollyfish, the new cut is very pretty on you. I actually see more moms running around with longer hair, usually stringing down or in a ponytail, than with a stylish cut like that so you can't call it mom hair.
