How did you ever come across that? Very unique idea...Interestingly enough, the cats don't really seem to mind!!

I think my cat would look smashing in the Silver Fox...

Found it on MUA where they were trying to decide if it was for real or not.
It was founded by the lady who runs Subversive Cross-stitch and I think it was for a fund-raiser for the ASPCA or something. Very silly indeed?

I'm new, and normally, I keep to myself on forums until I've assessed the general pop's feelings, BUT, I've got to pipe up. I have two dogs, one staffordshire bull, and one potcake (look it up, I'm not making that up, I promise! :-)) and I think that even though they are both very good, and docile animals, I might loose a hand if I tried ANYTHING on the Cosmopolitan shoot page. Daft people... they could be making cool wigs for humans and make more money for the ASPCA.

Very cute! :D But, alas, my cat would not stand for such.

The pictures are cute to look at, and the cats don't seem in any distress, so I'm ok with that aspect of it, and got a good chuckle. I agree it's a weird concept that COULD conceivably take off (there's lots of weird stuff available to pet owners these days!)...and I'm not wild about that aspect of it.

Hilarious!!
Sometimes I'll drape my hair across my cat's head and make a little toupee...but I thought it was just me being crazy. Nice to know I'm not alone!

Hee! That's adorable! I'm surprised they're actually selling those wigs, though- it looks more like it would be someone's photography project or something!

Oh my. No comment!

Well, asking if it's where the LOL excess hair goes was pretty funny!

I'd like to see the cat that really would suffer to walk around with that on it's head.. lol.

I was wondering

1) how long it took them to get the photos, or rather how many photos they had to take to capture one with the cat NOT trying to get the wig off?

2) Did the cats just give up and lay down for the pic? Or were they trying at all costs to get that wig off??

hmm I wonder how a standard cat would react to its master putting hair on it. I could see alot of hissing and scratching going on :rollin:

Hehe...my cat would LOVE that!

That is, she'd love to chase her own hair around and play silly games with it, then rip it off and tear it to shreds. That could be a whole half a day of diversion there!

My cat would have given me one of "THOSE" looks if I tried putting a wig on her. Too funny and I think the pink one is smashing
