Who are your personal hair inspirations? Mine are my best friends and sister! I have to show you this great hair length photo I took of their hair, it inspires me to keep growing my hair out :)

Either way, my hair inspirations are my mother and father. Dad had quite long hair... Actually they both had waist length hair. :love:

I'm currently in college, and their are SO many girls with beautiful long hair on my campus. Literally there are 3 girls with at least hip length hair in one of my small classes. Sometimes I find myself admiring their hair instead of paying attention :whistle: Not to mention my best friend who has waist length hair. I will get there some day!

I don't want hair like hers, you couldn't pay me to dye my hair black and we have entirely different hair types, but it's gorgeous.
There aren't really any women with long blonde hair, though, at least that I've heard of! :( Outside of LHC anyway.

Of the people know personally, I have 2. One of my best friends-we went to school together, and she's the only one I've really kept in regular contact with. She always had beautiful hair at school. Never succumbed to the fashions of the day, and always had TBL-Classic, straight dark chocolate hair! I was always envious, but fashions held far more sway with me back then. The other is a former collegue. She has/had hip length, blonette thick waves, its was so pretty, and she wore it down most days. Even though I have now exceeded her length, I still aspire to her hair type (and try to fake it with non-heat methods ;) ).

A lot of people here have super cool hair, but my inspiration is Emichiee. I found her on Youtube and watched her videos and her blog. After that I wrote her and she told me about LHC.

I have a couple. One is Firefly here :waves: because she has a hair type similar to mine and she makes it look AMAZING! And maybe someday mine might look like hers if I'm very lucky. :) A new inspiration I have IRL is one of my students. Her hair isn't like mine-- hers is incredibly thick and a sandy blonde-- but it's long and wavy and perfect. I sometimes have to force myself to look away from her gorgeous hair in class! It's a problem. :oops:

There is a wonderful girl I work with who has just the most gorgeous long hair. Perfect curls and all. She used to have hair down to her hips, at least, and she cut it all off after a bad breakup when she was younger. She regretted it and swore to never do that again. I can't say I blame her. Not sure if I have her permission to post her hair here, but if she says so I will. Oh, it's just so beautiful!

I feel like a lot of different people have impacted me. My mother had WL hair when I was young and I always loved it, but I didn't start thinking about growing mine out until I met my ex. His mother had thigh length hair and she spoke a lot about how I should grow mine out. Just stunning hair, that lady had. And my current bf's mother has TBL hair. So really, it's a combination of all these women Lol. - I guess for me, being surrounded by women with very long hair has been very motivating. They all inspire me.

Yes, yes, that's all her hair! She's quite popular in Russia. She obviously likes to fluff up her braids a lot, so they look abnormally massive: http://www.listal.com/viewimage/4633355h
In her interviews she says that there's no secret, she just loves her long hair, but it takes her only 15 minutes to get her hair ready every day, and she says you won't find 50 jars of masques in her bathroom. Sounds very much like the LHC way to me! :)

My "real person" hair inspiration is Zooey Deschanel... haha. She's almost my hair twin, so she makes me feel like if I found the right routine I could potentially have hair like hers for real one day. And since my hair is currently chin-length, I'm finding myself pining after pictures of her hair yet again... sigh :flower:

I have a few! My hair color inspiration is Isla Fisher. I think she has perfect auburn, gingery hair! It's just a much warmer shade of my natural color, so I'm trying to achieve it with henna.

Other hair inspirations for me are anyone with long curly hair. I have really wavy hair, and am trying to grow it out to BSL. Dealing with curly/wavy/wurly hair is like taming a wild beast. Whenever I see someone with long natural looking wavy hair I fall in love. "Kate" from LOST comes to mind...

Also Jemima Jirke, who is Jessa on the HBO show "Girls." It's so nice to see someone with really long natural looking hair in Hollywood.

For me it has been quiet various recently, so i have plenty of long and short hair inspiration on my mind most of the time. But chopping it all off would be a step that seems to big, not yet, maybe later, mayber never. So here it goes in my personal ranking what perfect hait would look like to me. It's very different, in an all or nothing kind of way, but for me it has always been about this kind of texture and condition of hair. Of course the long one is more special, but the short i find very charming as well.

This is a hair that I find to be an inspiration, but not for me because she is a 1a hair.

But I get blown away whenever I see her hair, just incredible!
