Ready, set, go!

These photos are from two different days with minimal to no styling, and the ones with the blue shirt are from tonight after getting snow-soaked and re-drying.

Several people on here offered a suggestion on my hair's type, but I think it's grown long enough that we can guess.

Beautiful hair, great photos!
I still think a bit length might help in determining, but from the top two I'd say 3a, and from the bottom more "fuzzy" one, 2c.

Actually - I just re-read and realized that was with you brushing them out - in that case, maybe 2c/3a? Or just 3a? It's difficult to say how much your hair will spiral with more weight to it.
In any case, your curls are delightful! :flowers:

At lesst some parts are 2c on the NC scale, you have clear ringlets at the tips in one image. 2a and 2b are looser waves so don't always show a full pattern repeat at your length. You may have a different wave pattern on your underlayers as they grow.

I always want to be unbiased from having read other members' choices before I answer, which means I normally choose my answers before reading the replies, and I say 2c too. =)

I think at least 2c, I wonder if it could be 3a? The first two pics look quite spirally, they're very pretty :)

2nd pic especially makes me think 3a, all of the photos other than the brushed out one look too ringlet-y to be waves to me.

You can't do any combing, drying, or styling before typing your hair.

You can't do any combing, drying, or styling before typing your hair.

It's still too short for that. I end up with a halo of fuzz around my head and the rest glued to my skull. There's no product or styling, only blow drying on low with a diffuser 12-14 hours beforehand. And, as I said, last nights got snow-soaked while I cleared off cars - so completely drenched it was dripping. (I call it "drowned rat chic.") Maybe in August or next winter I'll be able to do that?

To everyone else: WOW! Thank you. I was not expecting quite the response, maybe one or two posts at best. Thank you all so much! I'm going to go with the overwhelming response of 2c right now. I don't think it will spiral as much when it's longer due to the weight of it. But we'll see how that goes. Thank you again for the guesses and kind comments, especially on the eyes.

So far no trims since August. This has been quite the journey, and I'm just focusing on not cutting it at all and adding castor oil to the roots for (hopefully) more growth. This is where I came from:
