I used to swim several years ago and was in great shape. I'd like to pick it back up again but there's one concern-the constant exposure to chlorine wrecked havoc on my hair! No matter what I did, wore a swim cap, pre-soaked my hair with water and cheapie condish, my hair was still dull and brittle. I've just come back from the pool and I made sure to arm myself with a chelating shampoo for swimmers, used my cheap fatty alcohol conditioner as a rinse out and also as a leave in. It's still drying so I'll see if those measures along with my swim cap were enough. In the mean time, are there any other long hairs out there who can give advice for near daily swimmers? I would so much appreciate it! Cheeses to everyone and happy Saturday! :cheese:
