I was wondering if I have a blunt hemline or fairy tail ends? I actually want fairy tail ends, but not to where they are see through. I do a lot of S&D but should I get it trimmed again? I was going to on the winter solstice.. Which is.. March 19? I last had it trimmed on October 16. I want it to be healthy, but I want fairy tail ends.. I know my hair isn't that long yet, and it is also in braid waves in this pic. It is about tailbone when wet.

It look like a u-shaped hemline. If you want fairytales, do not trim! You should try aggressive S&D instead.

I agree with Magalo, it definitely looks like a U hemline. If you want fairytale ends, I'd quit the trims :) It looks very healthy, too, by the way.

Gorgeous hair! Why not just wait and s and d when necessary, especially if you are growing it out longer than how you have it. if you continue to s and d in about 6 years wouldn't you probably end up with fairy tale ends? I say preserve as much as you can of what you have!!! I am just beyond shoulder length so when I see hair like yours I'm very envious. Congrats on the length and health of your hair....that reminds me i need to take my vitamins

The winter solstice was in December. March 20 will be the spring equinox.
