Is there a place for personal projects?

I was seeking for a place in the forum where you can start personal projects. Is there anything like this here? Should I go int the "Polls&Projects"-Forum for this?

Depends what you're looking for. Many people use their blog within the site for that purpose.

Once you reach the "25+ quality posts" user permission level, outlined here (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=68520) on the "NEW? START HERE! (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=28)" board, the blog feature of the site will open up for you to use. :) You would then see it as an available option on the top navigation bar on the site between "Forum" and "What's New?"
