A couple of weeks ago, I had invited my family for DD's birthday. I was bussy making a cake, didn't want long hairs in it (og cake in my hair) so just did a thingy.
Was to bussy, so didn't get to do my hair over before the guests came - and my mother looooved the do.

So I tried to figure out, what I had done. I started with some kind of loop, the rest round the base and then a clawclip in - and then spread the loop over for covering. It looks pretty okay - if I may say so myself.

And I know, that this sort of thread is against rules unless it comes with proof ;)

Sounds like a lwb with clip and the loop spread? I like it so I'm gonna try it!

Looks great, and will probably work well with nice thicker hair. :)

Mine is thin and rather stringy, so it would never spread to cover that way.... only a few clumps of strands here and there, with the underneath of the bun showing through.

That, is really lovely :crush: similar to a lwb.
