Wow Jacqueline! You should switch your avatar to one of your 'hair down' photos (the one in the dark pink top is lovely, or the one in the white top) honestly I never realised how lovely your hair looks now, just from your avatar and sig pic. Really nice! And it's getting so long :)

I condsider BSL to be when your hair is at the bottom of shoulder blade (I dont go by bras) but it sounds like you are at BSL already because all bras are pretty much under the shoulder blade naturally.

I am a little past BSL when my hair is straight. In it's natural state it barely gets to BSL.

It waves, a decent amount. In this picture my hair is flat ironed, eeeek! It looks all funny and has weird waves everywhere and is totally uneven when I leave it alone. I need a better way...

Kiminah If your hair is starting to pass your bra strap then its MBL length and yours looks like it is MBL to :) I like the ombre effect on your hair by the way :) And your waves are so beautiful!!!


lindsayhv Im curious to see your natural waves :) The way your hair is in that picture above right now looks like its exactly my length - As you can see my hair has a bit of a U shape as well - I havent trimmed in so long so my hemline is getting very odd. How often do you use heat?

My hair is probably an inch or two longer than the bottom of my bra strap so I can probably safely say I am at MBL Woohoo!
Thank you :) I had to bleach it first before I put the colour on so my hair isn't happy about that. The waves in that photo are from having my hair in a dutch braid, but my natural hair waves in a very similar pattern, sometimes with the odd ringlet dotted about. It's very temperamental though so I don't know whether I should relabel myself a 2b or not.

Tini, I will take a picture of my hair later this afternoon once it waves dry. I use heat maybe 3x per week. I don't ever blow dry but I let it air dry and straighten the next day or I use big hot rollers. That's my favorite look on my hair. I just put all my tools away though and I'm doing a deep conditioner. I'm trying to stay away from sulfates and cones but that is hard! I think I'm also going to try co washing. I think I'll make myself a challenge to not use heat for at least a month. Stay tuned for a photo of my natural waves!

Lindsayhv, I was addicted to the flat iron too! I threw it out and now use rollers to straighten, but now I find myself more frequently rocking my natural hair texture, which would've been unheard of for me 2 months ago.

Thank you tini! I guess when its braided or scrunched it seems really short to me. I also cannot maintain the waves the second day....they get all scraggly and dead end looking....I'm going to wear it up for awhile too to see if that calms my obsession with growing it! Your hair is very close to waist too!! I still cannot consider mine MBL. I think it just looks longer in the picture! Also there are so many layers in there that it looks a lot shorter from the front.

lindsayhv Hair changes texture day by day, I only have about two days of good hair after a wash where i can have my hair down and for the rest my hair simply has to go back up and im fine with that because it needs to be in a protective style as well so dont stress :)

duchess67 Thank you so much, im actually getting pretty paranoid about my ends -- on some days my ends look like an ashy type of blond which against my darkish/caramel brown makes it look like damage but also I havent trimmed in so long *feels guilty* . Anyway i will just manintain at waist and see how it goes.
