Bottle Gourd hair oil

My friend had got an oil from a town in India. The label is written in a language i don't fully understand. Whenever I tried it, it made my hair more manageable. I have just realised its bottle gourd oil. Its a green colour thick liquid (i wouldn't really call it oil). Has anyone used this?

The last time I used it i happened to read the ingredients:vegetable oil, mineral oil, perfumes and preservatives. I am not quite sure why a natural oil should have preservatives and perfume in it.

Are those the only ingredients? If it contains actual bottle gourd plant (luaki) extract and other stuff, I can see how they need preservatives. Preservatives and perfume shouldn't be a big issue, unless you are allergic, of course. If in doubt, just avoid applying to your scalp.
