Recently I had to chop my nearly waist length hair back to apl due to old dye damage and some layers I had really regretted. While my hair is less snarly than it was, it is frustrating because that was nearly two years of growth just gone. Meanwhile my younger sister is absolutely torturing her hair yet hers remains seemingly undamaged and grows much quicker (and thicker) than mine. It's so frustrating to watch her broil her hair at 500 degrees then not use conditioner and her hair continue to grow longer and look 'healthier' than mine when I've been limiting heat and carefully caring for my hair for years. I've had a hard time trying to not be jealous. How do others deal with these feelings? Any advice?

Maybe your sister has something she is envious towards you too...grass is always greener.
