Cool up dos to make hair look long/full?

I have BCL hair which is pretty thick so usually whatever I do looks pretty thick but I was wondering if there are any fairly easy styles out there to make it look really full/long? I have amish pins and chop sticks to work with.

I have very fine/thin waist length hair and I am always looking for ways to make my buns and updos BIGGER! The best thing I have found so far are the net bun formers which I cut apart and form into hair rats. BTW, it's nice to see someone from Chicago on the board :flower:

One of my friends would do a deconstructed bouffant type thing where she would bunch up her hair in a pile on the back of her head and then put in enough bobby pins until it held on its own. It was a very full and romantic look, and it really showed off her hair in a way that a traditional bun didn't.

Vortex bun or triple braided bun will definitely look like you have more hair than you do!
