Need mod help, account issues

Ever since I registered I keep getting the message "you do not have permission to access this page", if I try to access my own profile page, click my name on top of the page, and several other places I fail to remember at the moment :p

:agree: Definitely a permissions issue. Unfortunately it's a pretty common thing for new users to get confused about. It's understandable, since in the excitement to start posting and experience all the forum has to offer, posts like the one above which links to a thread on the "NEW? START HERE!" board and a "COMMON QUESTIONS" thread on the top of the Site Support board tend to get overlooked. Both of those threads should have all the information you'll want to know about that wall you're hitting when you try to visit your profile.
