rosemary-sage grey hair essential oils?

Been reading about rosemary and sage to darken hair but they always claim you need to use fresh leafs. Is there a way to create a formula with the essential oils? It's much more practical because it's a bit hard to constantly buy and cook those fresh leafs as u need to repeat the process?

Don't bother. Even using a rinse made from fresh leaves doesn't make a discernable difference, and it's a lot of work. It's really not a viable method for coloring grays.

I tried with the dried herbs steeped in boiling water and it certainly didn't darken my hair. Not sure about essential oils, though. I'm tempted to try with fresh leaves now you've said this, however!
