CO washing and terms

Ok. I'm going to look like a total noob for asking this (well, I kinda am haha). I think I understand what CO washing is, but are you supposed to use the conditioner on your scalp too? Also, what does "cone-free" mean?

"Cone-free" refers to shampoos/conditioners without silicone. Here (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=13) is an article that may help. (Can you tell that I like articles? ;) )

I don't put the Condish on my scalp--unless my scalp seems dry. If I DO put it on, I will rinse it out rather quickly (just to be safe from the greasies).
