View Full Version : I had a trim! Positive experience, for a change!

For a while now, my hair really needed a trim. The ends were dry, uneven (growing out layers) and still contained some black hairdye. The hairdresser was really nice and actually listened to what I had to say to her. She did not chop off more than necessary (about 7 cm) and even complimented me on my hair. Wow, I do not remember ever having been treated so nicely by a hairdresser before....usually they try to talk me into a shorter haircut, haha. She told me she had a friend with super healthy, knee-length hair. Perhaps that's why she knows how to appreciate it! At the end, she applied some oil to the ends of my hair...something I've never seen any hairdresser do before. She really knew her stuff! :)
Next time, I won't be so scared to have a chop anymore... And I don't even mind about the loss in length. My hair is in much better condition and it doesn't even look that much shorter. What a relief. :)

Good to hear you had a good experience, now you know you can continue to go to that lady for trims if you wish :) always good to find a trusted hairdresser, there are plenty out their contrary to popular belief, just have to find 'em! I'm lucky in that mine is a family friend. Anyways, back to your post! Your ends look fabulous by the way, gorgeous hair :D

Excellent results! :) Congratulations!
Perfectly thick hemline, and the hairdresser cut off very, very little.

Good that haidressers like her still exist :) Keep contact with her, finding a good hairdresser that actually want to please a client is unbelievably hard.

Gorgeous hair! It's so great to hear positive hairdresser stories. :)

I guess my hairdresser stories are mostly positive, too, but that's because I cut my own hair. :silly:

oh this gives me hope! I'm debating going in for a trim, but have zero luck getting someone who understands "micro trim".
