It's amazing what a trim and some TLC will do!!

So, recently, I had my hip length hair trimmed up to just past BSL. Since then (about 3 weeks ago) I've been pampering my hair loads, lots of leave in conditioners, oiling wil evoo before wash day, wearing my hair up in a protective style every day and covering it in the cold weather, and WOW it's made a difference!! My hair has gone from velcro-y, dry and brittle to soft, shiny and thick. I'm so pleased I decided to dive in head first and actually TRY to look after my hair, it's amazing!! :cheese:

This is what it was like before (and you can tell from this picture how dry and velcro-y it was, split ends were everywhere) and after (sorry I cut the ends off with the photo but it's literally just a tiny bit longer than the photo with a blunt cut)

It is really beautiful but isnt it also that The first Pic is made in daylight without flash and The other in darker light with a flash ? Just curious

Not sure that it would work for everybody but I tend to use Pantene Ice Shine 2 Min Masque, but I believe it's full of cones, so if you're not into that, I wouldn't recommend it. I love cones personally, because my hair is so fine, I couldn't live without them because without my hair is just a fluff ball of tangles. :rolleyes:

Neither has flash, but the first was daylight and the second aritificial light, I should probably take another in daylight really. It's wash day today though, so when it's dry maybe I'll try and catch one in the daylight. :)

Your hair is soooooo beautiful, it shines, its perfect. Congrats!!! I always seem to do length first and once i get to where i want, i decide to get it healthy again... *feeling guilty*. I'm trying to get to waist now before i start mantaining.
