Hi all :) I haven't been posting much lately.. New job, selling our house and lots going on.. I've become more of a lurker, But I've been here reading and enjoying.
So it's been three years! Wow! Time flies.
I joined in Nov. 2010.. I decided a few months later I wanted to start fresh and get rid of some layers, so I did a mini chop in January 2011...
I like to trim.. a lot :) so progress has been slower than if I left the scissors alone.. but what can I say, I love me some fresh ends.
I've been keeping my routine simple. I usually wash and condition 2 times a week, and I like to do a deep conditioning one of those times. I usually use sulfate free shampoo and my conditioner may or may not have cones depending on what I grab that day. I usually wear it in a side braid or bun, and I let it air dry. I use to semi/demi dye my hair, but I haven't in a few years and I don't know if I will again..but I'm seeing more and more grays now, so maybe...
Like I said, I do trim alot so In the three years I've been growing, I have cut about 9+ inches off, about three inches a year...maybe more, but I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't/doesn't bother me to lose some length.. I'm actually do for a trim now to blunt up my ends :)
I had a pretty good shed this spring, and lost some thickness, about 1/2 inch..but it seems to have stopped so I hope to gain it back...
Anyway onto the pictures :)
(I lost a lot of my old pictures so I only have a few of the beginning of the journey)
This is the day I joined. Nov 2010

I'm nearing my end point. I wont go much longer.. I'll just keep it about tailbone and keep trimming to thicken it up and keep my ends blunt.
Thanks for reading :)
