Thinking about donating to Beautiful Lengths. Experiences?

Basically I've had it with my mid back hair. This is the first time I've grown it out but I'm having all kinds of issues from itchy scalp to awful shedding to knots and more! I am a childhood cancer survivor so I'm thinking I may cut it and donate it and just start doing that from now on. Grow until it bugs me then chop you know?

I believe it was Beautiful Lengths that my sister donated to. When she started talking about donating, I told her to do what makes her happy, but to just not send to Locks of Love because they were questionable. So she considered that and sent it to Beautiful Lengths instead. I don't think she regretted that decision, but she has grown her hair back out and does not seem interested in cutting it.
