Sorry, the pictures are not very good but I hope instructions and pictures will help :) My hair is shortish so this is could work with other shortish hair people too!

Instructions:
1. Separate your hair from the top of your head into four sections
2. To make things easier we are going to name sections with numbers 1-4 from left to right.
3. To start braiding cross the 1st section under the 2nd one and over the 3rd one.
4. Cross the fourth section over the third one and under the second one
5. Repeat the step 3 but add some hair into first section.
6. Repeat the step 4, add more hair into fourth section
7. Keep going until you have finished
8.I made a pony in the end. People with longer hair can continue braid doing steps 2&3http://i44.tinypic.com/hwkac9.jpghttp://i43.tinypic.com/2qa8sc0.jpg

Looks fab, I love four stand braids but can't seem to manage a French version. Must keep practicing!

wow, you are so skilled! I have some coordination trouble doing regular 4-strand braids (in fact I am sitting in two pigtail 4-strand braids from earlier practicing!). At your length my go-to style was a dutch braid (https://scontent-b-ams.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc1/998458_10151718220243022_456801896_n.jpg) so... wow, kudos to you :)

Wow that looks really great, I got a normal 4 strand to work a while ago so I'll give this a go!

I do not possess the necessary skills to do this braid D: but it looks fantastic in your hair! I'm still working on a fishtail for right now, this is one of my goal braids though.

Well, on my second go, I got something kinda working, then looked in the mirror and burst out laughing. I showed the other half and he laughed too and said "awww, did you get confused?" and indeed I did. Still, if I can get the hang of it, it will look awesome :rolling:

Oooh, I like it very much! I can't even do a three strand braid so I'm not even thinking about attempting this. ;-)

Managed my best attempt yet today :) I just always have an issue keeping the stands equal sizes
