Has anyone noticed that certain areas of their hair grow faster/longer than others? I've noticed over the past year or so that the bottom layer of my hair (around the nape of my neck) seems to grow the fastest/longest out of anywhere on my scalp. I'm assuming this has something to do with the fact that this area suffers the least tension when i put my hair up, less sun exposure, and the like. Currently, it's about 3 inches longer than the rest of my hair (need to have the boyfriend even things out ;)).

Yeah same here, when i had my blunt cut at just bellow the shoulders my hair was as blunt as it can get but now at a solid BSL, the hem line has gone into a U shape :( very dissapointing but i wont do anything about until i get to waist before i start mantaining so i can get my blunt hem line back :)
Although....
I am slowly starting to like fairytale ends to... so we will see what happens :p

I can not stand my fairytale ends ):. I see a lot of breakage in my hair currently so it'll probably get a bit more blunt once that's sorted...but, I definitely have two very small locks of hair next to each ear that always grow shorter than the rest of my hair.
