Shed Hair Thread

I thought maybe we should all have a post to put pics of shed hairs. I know sometimes I panic about shedding, and if its normal or excessive. So maybe having some different pictures of everyones shed hairs might help those who are questioning their shed hairs.

In my pic, not all my hairs are the same length obviously, but all are pretty long.

I thought maybe if we put how many hairs and the current length of hair, and putting an object in the picture to give perspective might help.

Here is mine, I hope to see others!

Great idea! I bought a hair receiver from ebay and can't wait for it to come. I've been throwing out my shed hairs, but I would like to have a place to keep them so I can count at the end of the day, rather than trying to remember where I left off in counting throughout the day. I'm also considering cassia and/or henna, and think I would like to do some testing on shed hairs rather than on my head.

So, I started counting on November 10th, and here are my shed numbers for each day:

11/10 - 25
11/11 - 16
11/12 - 22
11/13 - 24
11/14 - 50
11/15 - 22
11/16 - 26
11/17 - 26
11/18 - 33
11/19 - 12
11/20 - 15
11/21 - 22
11/22 - 11
11/23 - I will have a final count later tonight when I brush it out before bed, but I'm up to 22 hairs so far.

I don't have any pictures of my sheds.

Great idea Laura! I recently started a new med, and some people have complained of hair thinning, so I might also use this thread to keep count, just to see if I get an increase.
