http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7704&d=1385166160Today :) Sorry about the fluffyness!!! I brushed it out.
I started taking biotin a week after the first picture, my hair grew maybe an inch or so. Do I dare call this MBL?

How much biotin do you take each day?

The pills I have say full strength. 10,000 mcg. I know the maximum is 5,000, but that was the only one I could find.

I find it hard to tell because the second picture is darker... would of worked better if you meassured your hair to really see if theres a difference in growth or not.

Sorry! Last month it was 25 inches. Now it's a little over 26.

I guess its different for everyone. I'm taking twice the recommended amount and my hair grows a little over the average rate.

I take pre-natal vitamins and biotin. My hair went from 1/2 an inch of growth a month to a full inch.

I've taken biotin for two years at that dose, usually get a good 1/2 a month but sometimes I've noticed more. Mostly it's changed my onion peel nails to strong nails.

It's called Natrol (the O looks like a leaf) It's 10,000 mcg and comes in a purple bottle and purple cap. It has 100 tablets. :)

I really want to take biotin but i'm scared of the acne-i've been blessed with a clear face (only a pimple every now and then) and I don't want to screw that up. Any advice? Ive been taking omega 3 fish oil pill for about 2 weeks now

If you take Super B Complex, that will prevent the sie effect of acne . Take it daily with your biotin.

I just started taking the same brand of biotin. I'm hoping for an inch of growth also. I can tell it got thicker. :)

I started on 10,000 mcg biotin 2 days ago. I'm hoping to see some fast growth. My growth is already fairly fast, at .75" a month, but I won't complain if I get an extra .25" to .5" a month. ;)

almost all vitamins aside from the normal multivitamin make me sick..Do you have any side effects from it? headaches, upset stomach?

I generally have an iron stomach, except I get pretty nauseous in early pregnancy sometimes. I did get a headache yesterday, but that may have been due to lack of sleep.

I started taking Biotin on 30 October (1000MCG every night before bed) and have 1 & 1/8 inches of new growth. I also started taking a good multivitamin and 500 mg of C at the same time. It's easy for me to measure my new growth, as have not colored my hair since and the grey is coming on four-by.

My nails are also growing at a ridiculous rate, and seem much stronger. I plan to stick with the Biotin for a while as long as I don't have any of the side effects (which I haven't experienced yet).

I've started it since the end of last week, 1000 ug a day. The bottle says that that is 2000% of the daily recommended dosage (Any surplus of biotin comes out via urine.).
I'm hoping to grow faster that way, but I still have to see. I did notice that my roots came in very fast this week as I postponed my henna, but that could also be wishful thinking.

I'm getting excited about the chance to measure my hair again. Can I measure now? Can I measure now? Can I measure now? It's only been four days, I tell myself, cool it! Sheesh, living in my mind is like taking a long road trip with a little kid... Are we there yet? Are we there yet? <sigh> Give it a little time, dear, a little time. Hmmm, I'm talking to myself again...
