Hair is being naughty

When I put it down I just turn my head once and it balls up into a knotted mess. Guess I will be wearing it up. It seems to always do this during winter months. I can wear it down all summer and barely comb it with hardly a tangle.

Maybe it dries out in the winter? It could also be friction from woolly jumpers.

Mine did this starting last month. I bought isoplus tea tree oil sheen hair spray it's not like typical hair stiffening spray but an oil mist. I put it on my length and braid it. A little goes a long ways and it helped on mine. I did clarify with vo5 tea vanilla mint set, mango Shea butter by lustrasilk and Aussie 3 min miracle. I waited a day added my spray then braided my hair put it up so far shiny waves. No tangles.
