What the heck! When did my hair get long? (pic)

It's not really. It hangs in the mid-back abyss, although when stretched it is technically waist. But I'd like to wait until it visibly reaches waist until I join any threads. But I've never taken a picture before and thought my hair looked long, but today I did!

Hopefully it's not just me, but it actually looks long! I thought it would be forever before it could feel long and even longer for it to look long, but here it is! Thank you wearing it up and forgetting about it for the last few months. I totally support this method. :)

Thank you! It is technically natural in that I didn't use any method to get it this way, except to comb it out and dry it in a ponytail. My natural texture is 3a/3b and I feel very lucky that it can dry this way with such minimal effort. Oh if only I had known this in high school. Oh and I also have the California lack of humidity to thank, because without it, it would be much poofier. :)

That's the same growing method I used - put it up and forget about it. You're right, it's a shock when suddenly one day it really does seem LONG. :) Very pretty hair.

Thanks, you might think from the picture that the bottom of my black jacket is waist, but waist is about 2 inches higher on me.So it is getting really close to waist. I'm hoping at the end of december I'll reach there officially. Can't wait! :)

You're right, I often forget that the world does not go by LHC standards of longness. Although no one in regular life has commented on my hair being long, hopefully it might happen soon. But truthfully now I don't really care because I feel like it's long. And thank you very much for the compliments!
