View Full Version : I think I made it

Hello

I think I have finally made Classic (again).

I checked it out today, and I measured at the right measurement for the butt/thigh junction, and visually the ends of the U of my hemline are actually longer than Classic, while the sides of the U just reach it. So, here it is! Sorry, I should have worn jeans that aren't so baggy and sad looking. Haha

Now I want to cut it. The ends are a wee thin since I haven't trimmed in some time, so I'll probably cut it back to slightly longer than TBL, and let it get to Classic again, hopefully with the full crowd, not just my fastest growers.

Thanks...the photo is really quite terrible. Its my cellphone (which is like 5 or 6 years old) and it's blurry and flat. Not to mention my hair is a little bleh today because its been raining/snowing and I've got a crazy case of static frizz. But the ends are thinner than I'd like. I might try 1/2" first, I can always cut more.

I agree with starting with 1/2", your ends don't seem uneven enough to warrant going up towards TBL.

Congratulations! Classic is my dream length.
Your ends don't seem bad to me. I agree with leslissocool, try to cut ½“ first.

True, and the way my schedule has been it may be that long before I can get in for a cut.

Fine/Thin hair CAN be grown! It just requires lots of time and gentleness...and hair sticks! Haha

Congrats you made it to classic. I'd say trim a small amount off to thicken it up but I wouldn't trim to the tailbone region. Your hair looks lovely.

Your hair looks really beautiful! I think that your hemline looks good. You don't need to trim it all unless you just want to maintain it at this length.
That is what I have been doing is maintaining it at tbl - I am trying to thicken up my hemline though.

I only wish my ends were as thick as yours at that length. I'm almost there, but my hair is considerably scragglier than yours. It doesn't look like you need a trim at all.

Congrats! Your hair is so beautiful and such an inspiration (as another fine-haired person myself). I agree with the others who said to start with just a 1/2 inch trim. Thanks for sharing :)
