View Full Version : Any of you fine folks in Switzerland? Where do you find your natural products?

I'm living in Bern, Switzerland at the moment (Grützi!), and I'm having a horrid time finding natural hair products. The most natural shampoo I've been able to find is a shampoo bar for dogs. All the other stuff I've seen is full of sulfates and alcohols with some plant extracts thrown in.

Where do you Swiss ladies get your products?

Have you tried buying online from http://www.perfecthair.ch. I used them when I was in Geneva for a while and they were great.

I recommend the Weleda (http://www.weleda.ch/) products. They're readily available in Switzerland. They definitely make sulphate and paraben free shampoos.

They substitute something (I think preservatives) for alcohol. I once tried their chestnut shampoo (this was a long long time ago) and it burned my scalp! It didn't just tingle, it burned. No way. Natural or not, I don't care, but this is just way too crazy.

Huh, they must have changed their methods since. I know someone who lives in Switzerland and is systematically testing his way through every Weleda shampoo and shower gel/creme he can find. He likes them all so far, and he certainly would have mentioned a burning scalp!

I'll definitely check out Weleda. I think they have that at Coop, the local grocery store.

I'm in Germany but I think you should be able to order on Aubrey Organics German website!
Their products are all pretty mild.

You could check out the Belherbal line in Migros. It's dead cheap, but the Weizen shampoo and conditioner is really my go-to products. :)
