This is what my hair looked like as a kid. My mom trimmed it until I was older. When I started kindergarten my hair was at APL but my mom cut it off when I started 2nd grade. I never let her cut it again, but I havent gotten past APL...ever. I always got bored with it. This is my first time making a link, so I hope it works :)

This was a few years ago, I was probably 17. This is the longest my hair has even been, maybe it got a bit longer after this was taken. PLease excuse the look on my face...I'm pretty sure I was singing into that vacuum hose for whatever odd reason lol

This was probably the longest my hair had been as a kid, my mom always kept my hair in a short bob with straight bangs.

This was taken at my grandparents' golden wedding anniversary - I was about six years old, or perhaps seven. My hair was more or less down to my waist at this point, and it stayed like that until I had it all cut off before secondary school.

I don't have a pic with my hair loose from the time it was long :( in all the pics it's in a braided updo... I don't think I have a pic with it loose from my teenage years either, wore a ponytail all the time...
At it's longest as a kid my hair was somewhere between classic and midthigh, around fingertip or so, that was at the age of 8-9. As a teenager it was around waist at it's longest.

I'll try to find some pics, I think there's a pic of me at 3 with a bob and a huge ribbon on top of my head somewhere, lol :)

That's me when I was approximately 2 or 3 years old. My hair was at this length till I was about 12 or 13 :pinktongue: my mom loved short hair :laugh:

Hello Hoosier. I am in between Indianapolis and Kokomo. Just a little ways off of 31. I go to Portland every year to that big antique show there. I look forward to it every year.

Here is me! I had bangs for practically the first 15 years of my life.

I thought I looked so weird without them at first.

Yet, after growing them out, now I can't imagine having bangs.

I never (it was rare) had my hair down, it was either in roller curls (omg I remember the times when my mom would curl it and all day I would pull my curl to make it bounce lol) or twists or braids.

I was desperate to be able to wear my hair down, and the big chop took me to waist (!) But it was so freeing and pretty. I subsequently went shorter until I had a crop.

I never want my hair so long again that I can't enjoy it loose whenever I like. Waist will be more than enough, I suspect!

This was typical of most of my childhood. I think I was about 8 years old in this picture, and the style was all by my choice. I always wanted my mom to cut my hair above my ear lobes, but she always kept at about this length or just beneath my earlobes. I liked to put clips on both sides of my part, but there is only one clip in this picture for whatever reason.
