View Full Version : Would you type my hair, please?

I know my hair is fine with a medium thickness, but I can't for the life of me figure out if it's 1b or 1c. Could I have your opinion? I really appreciate it.:o Sorry about the blurriness--my iPad won't take higher-res photos and I don't have a camera.:oops:

First of all your hair is beautiful! From what I can tell it looks like 1b, but it could be 1c if you have waiver or even curly bits near your nape or by your temples, this is common for people with fine hair I think, I have it too, I just learned today that meant 1c!

Glass Spires, your hair is really beautiful. I would guess 1c since you seem to have weak consistent waves in your hair but I'm not very good with type 1 hair.

I would guess 1b or 1c... depending on if it''s been brushed in the pic when tends to make it straighter looking

I think that there's a very real possibility of you having both types. So you're probably a 1b/1c. :)

We have a VERY similar hair type, though mine is not fine :) We have almost matching waves and those pesky flips at the ends. I consider myself a 1c!

I would say 1c, too - my hair is straight with some lift at the roots and doesn't flick or do anything at all and I consider myself a 1b.

Just since no one else has asked: is that a proper hair typing photo (no brushing or touching after a wash, completely air dried)?

Yep, I followed the instructions I found on a sticky elsewhere on the site: wash as usual, brush when wet, leave it to air-dry.
