Waist by 2015

Sorry if there is a similar posting, I couldn't find one, so here goes!
I am currently 21 inches, and need to be 29 to reach waist. 8 inches to grow! It is possible!
What is your current length, how much left for you to grow before reaching waist?
Thought we could give each other support and advice on growing for our goal!

joining in! I don't really know how many inches [I shall measure and return] but I'm at solid APL now, my growth rate is slow to average 1/2 inches per month...so 2015 seems very realistic,

I'm creeping towards the end of bsl, and hope to be at waist by 2015 - accounting for the fact that the last three inches will have to be trimmed back due to past neglect and weird layers from past semi-buzzed haircuts.

I'm hoping to be at waist and beyond in 2015. If I don't trim, I could be there in a year...but we'll see. I'm currently at 23 inches and waist for me is somewhere between 31-33 inches. I'm not really sure :lol:

Same here! Few centimeters away from BSL, but I am still not sure how to measure/take a good picture. Ah well. Looks different length from every angle. I hope for BSL late 2013/early 2014, and at the end of 2014/early 2015 waist or on: ) My hair grows 1,5 cm/month, so technically... but we will see.

I should get to BCL/TBL no later than October 2017, and I think that's with a year's leeway for up to 6 inches in trims.
I'm definitely in this thread, because I should be BSL in October of 2014, so Waist some time in 2015 is very likely.

I think this thread is more up my alley as I have been micro trimming on a monthly basis to get rid of old dye and to keep my ends fresh and blunt as possible. My hair is currently a little passed BSL but am aiming to be waist length at some point.

I'm jumping in on this thread. I'll have my official monthly measurements next week so I know how far off from waist length I am. I'm estimating somewhere around 10 inches. I'm a fairly swift grower, so I should be able to at least get my bottom layers to my waist by some point in 2015.

I'm joining, I was past BSL but decided to cut 4 inches (good choice, my hair looks way better) so I'm a bit past APL. Waist on me is 29 so I have 7 inches to go, waist by the end of 2014 or beginning of 2015 should be possible :) (here's hoping!)

I'm currently at 18-18.5 and waist on me is between 28-29. The last couple of months my hair as grown an inch per month (actually just over, but I'm OK with calling it at an inch) so I'm pretty sure I will be close to waist by 2015. I'll definitely be there solidly sometime in 2015.

I am hoping to make waist by late summer/early fall of 2015, I think it's possible. That is also assuming of course that my hair will actually grow that long and it continues to grow the average 1/2" per month until then.

In August of 2011 I chopped my hair to shoulder length. My hair is now to the small of my back so about 4 inches from my waist a little over 2 years after the chop. I think I reached bsl somewhere around February or march of this year, and I was also having to cut about a .25 inch of every couple of months. I just recently stopped having to trim so often. So probably 6-12 mo the for someone to grow from bsl to waist since there are so many variables involved.
Oops thought op was asking how long it takes to grow from bsl to wl.

I'm going to be optimistic and get in on this!
My very inaccurate measuring using a hairstick as a ruler suggests I have around 8 inches till waist. I don't measure my hair so I'm not sure what my growth rate is. Seems achievable though haha! :)

The sticking point might be that I'm planning on cutting off my bleached ends in October next year. Most of the bleach is on my top layers though, so it might not affect my length TOO much if I can just cut in some layers. *crosses fingers*

Currently at 19" (50cm) and would love to get in on this. Growing out the dye which is between 7-9" grown out now. with 10-12" of dyed hair left.

Taliara there are no rules unless you have your own to follow, it is just a case of growing to waist by 2015, when in 2015 is up to you. Welcome to the thread!

I've been massaging my scalp more consistently, twice a day every day for a couple of minutes at least.

Unless I have some catastrophic hair growth failure, I should make waist by sometime in 2015. Remains to be seen whether that will be stretched and measured or wavy/dry, but I'll take it either way I can get it. ;)

Count me in! I'm about an inch or so from calling BSL, currently at around 64cm (25.25"), and reckon waist on me is somewhere past 80cm (31.5"). My hair's grown 3cm (1.25") since the end of April, so I guess waist by 2015 is doable if I behave with the scissors. :D 16cm (6.25") to go...
