I originally posted this on naturallycurly but I thought I'd ask the experts here too:
Basically, today I applied more leave in condish than normal in the hopes of more wave definition, what I got was piece-y hair but not really in a stringy way, I guess my hair 'clumped' Anyway, I combed through with my detangler and all was well, my hair was super shiny. Then, I decided to comb through one section with a finer tooth (wooden) comb and immedietly that section looked a LOT less shiny. I'm confused, why did my hair lose a lot of shine just from combing? It's never done that before .....
