Wet hair. Green line is waist. Yellow line is hip. It has not been combed

About the same. It doesn't shrink much. It looks thicker dry

I like your idea of wrapping different color ribbon to indicate body length marks. Great idea!

Wow. That is a lot of shrinkage. My avatar is from yesterday. It shows it dry

I'd like that shrinkage. My hair wet is past APL (maybe somewhere between APL and BSL), dry in it's fully curly state, it bounces on my shoulders. :(

Thanks leeloo, I don't have a photo shop program to digitally put the lines in so tat s what I came up with.

With my hair when it's wet it thins out and looks longer. Dried it looks thicker and short. I wish mine would dry at its wet length.

Well, I am 1a, but oddly my dry hair is about ½ inch shorter than my wet hair.

I probably have between an inch and 1.5 inches of shrinkage, so about 48" wet, 46.5" or so when dry.

My hair SHRINKS when its wet.
When its all wet, its somewhere up around my ears, when dry at shoulders and when dry and stretched at bra strap top.

I've only been measuring mine wet, after washing and combing. Not stretching also, just letting it fall and seeing where it falls while holding the tape. I just trimmed like Wed, so it is now 40.5" wet. Dry is maybe an inch or so less because it shrinks some and waves.. I haven't consistently measured dry.. trying to get back where I was (~46") so I can continue to fingertips (47-48"). :) :disco:

I've never measured it wet, but in the shower my longest ends are about HL and then I dry to about ~1 inch above WL.

I lose at lest a few inches when dry (I don't measure). I am beyond waist when wet. When dry, I'm a few inches above. Cursed waves! (actually, I usually like them, but...)

My hair stays wavy when it's wet. My wet length and dry length are almost exactly the same!! It's soooo annoying! My hair just likes to curl up dramatically at the ends and then be straight/slightly wavy most of the length. I lose like 2 inches due to shrinkage at this specific length. I hope that when my hair gets longer it will be heavier and not curl up so much. -_-
