I just counted my headbands & could not believe that I have so many! Almost 30 of them! I don't remember buying but a couple, haha.

Anyway, I was wondering how to store them? I was thinking of taking a piece of material & sewing a lot ( 30 or so) of elastic loops on it & putting one headband through each loop.

I was wondering if any of you have any better ideas on how you store your headbands?

Or better yet show a picture of how you store them, would be great!

small drawer in a little plastic drawer set. Like this person has: https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTpInUZ7gQMbiKtM9TkMhbW6fN5NAl0t QH4M4VNEjrpAJIu-82g

I keep make up, nail polish, qtips and earrings in the other drawers

If you're talking about the stretchy head bands that are a full circle, I keep them on a carabiner (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carabiner)... well, not a real carabiner just a dollar store one. Then the carabiner goes in the plastic drawer lol. I also keep my hair eastics on carabiners... y'know when they're not haphazardly scattered around the apartment

I have them in one of these drawer-things, kinda like this:

And my hard plastic ones are in something like this:

I do that for my hard headbands. You can find DIY tutorials online on how to make this. The base is made from an empty oatmeal container, then you spruce it up with gift wrap paper or some kind of decorative paper to cover it. It works really well!

I keep all my cloth hair ties in a walnut shaped cookie jar that a squirrel sits on top of. I always thought the squirrel tail better represented my tail's curl. The nut is just a coincidence to my hair hobby!

I collect all my head band on all the door knobs around my house. I have a door knob for a type of head band. :) I just can't seem to hold them all in one place, I'm lazy and when I just take my hair down on a whim, its either the nearest door knob, or where ever I took it off for all eternity. Door knob it is.

At present all my hair toys are in a huge work-men's fold out carry /fisher mens box, but I've just ordered a 4 layer aluminium travel case which I'm going to enjoy filling to the brim. :)

I don't have many. Most of them are those little clear elastics for securing the ends of braids, and I keep those in a little tin.

I love that oatmeal container holder, it looks really cute. I like the tacklebox idea too, especially for holding smaller things like bobby pins and ponytail holders alongside your headbands. I use a tacklebox to store makeup and it works perfectly. It's great because it's so easy to carry around too, and can store easily out of sight.
