2 years on LHC (and 2 years of no colouring, and no straightening...)

Hi everyone. :)
In october I've been here 2 years (couldn't wait). Thank you for all the support, help and advice!
Here's my hair background:

The colouring:
I came here with fried, over coloured jet black hair in October 2011.
The month before was when I dyed my hair the last time, a brown colour to blend in my roots better with the black.
Actually I think the growing out/fading process of the black was not a big deal! Suddenly it was just all gone...
I believe some tint of the brown colours I used is still left, but not visible. No chemicals used, just growing, cutting and natural fading!

The straightening:
A couple of years I straightened almost daily, atleast after every wash, so about 3-4 times a week.
No heat protection... :doh:
The last year or so I only straightened the front face framing pieces, and the bangs (I had like pinup bangs), but in the summer of 2011
I decided to stop and to only straightening the bangs when needed, which I stopped doing rather soon as I decided to grow it out.

The growing:
So, for the past 2 years I've been really good! I tried WO, CO, and now I'm just regular shampoo/conditioner. Some coconut oil occasionaly.
I really don't like my hair at the moment, it's curly, straight, rough and slippery all at the same time. It needs weight! Atleast it's growing.

What beautidul soft curls you've got and really there is no sign of the old black dye. Grats on that! Your hair is so shiny and looks healthy to me.

I don't really have much advice for you as I'm a straighty myself, but there will be more weight when there is more length, so basically my advice is to wait it out. :)

When I came here I felt that NO ONE could have hair as bad as mine, and if someone else comes here with the same thoughts, I'd love to be some sort of inspiration to show that how bad it ever is, it can always be better (although I still have a long way to go). :)
