Spidermom,look at my ''before'',not much curl there,just gentle waves..Wish the pics were bigger or clickeable so you could see better.The curls reappeared along the cut v hem edges,didn't have any layers done elsewhere.The day of the cut,all my cut ends were in shock,completely straight!After I washed and conditioned they[curly edges] reappeared.

Your hair is similar to mine (I'm 2c also), but like spidermom, my curls have disappeared. Your hair looks beautiful! I want to cut a v hem like yours, but I'm worried about the way my ends thin. How does the v hem work with your buns and braids? Do bits of hair stick out of your buns? Are your buns much smaller now? Does your braid thin out to nothingness?

Irisheyes,the only bun I do is a lazywrap- no problem there,my pony with layers is lighter but looks thicker due to the poufy layers.My back braid I only braid half down my back and leave a long thick tassel,it does look too tapered to braid to the very end but I prefer a long tassel so it's not a problem for me.My buns are a bit smaller but I just spread them more,they are still a decent size.
