Can anyone tell me how to clarify without using shampoo so my next hendigo will take? I washed with pure shikaki last time, since it said on the box that it "reduces oiliness in hair", and when my hair dried after the hendigo, there did not appear to be any difference in color. No oxidation later. Nothing. The first time a hendigo didn't take, so it had to be due to oil in my hair. I had washed with nothing for five weeks prior-- just long thorough water rinses. The shikaki wash was the first wash since the last time I washed with all-natural oil-based shampoo. I feel I'm starting to ramble here. Okay, can anyone help? I'd really love to re-brown my hair.
