I knew i had put it off far too long, especially with all the coloring I do to my hair, so I trimmed my hair.
I think it will make my mom happy, since she has been hinting at it for a while. :P

Kayla Nyx, I think it looks nice but as I haven't done trimmed my own hair, I'll let other members here give you their opinions and more detailed comments.

It looks nice! In the last pic it looks a bit uneven on the left side (of the pic) but I think it may be how you're standing.

And you can tell Nenny that I had someone I was snuggling with until he got too excited and rolled off the side of the bed.

Nice! Did she did the compact cutting method/feye's v-cut?
Whenever I do that, I cut myself, double-check, and then have my boyfriend check to make sure it's straight. For some reason, I always seem to leave the left side a bit long...

I like the photo of your new hemline, and it seems like you haven't lost that much length. :)

The center 1/3 appears to be disconnected from the outer 1/3 on either side of it. While balanced and centered where it falls, there is a significant and dramatic increase in length in the center. This is my opinion which isn't worth spit if how it appears was your desired result and you are pleased with it.

I may be wrong however based on what I see it appears as if you parted your hair in the center and directed everything to the front and cut level. If you want to avoid that disconnected look then remember that the hair in the center back travels the farthest when brought to the front and if everything is cut straight across when the hair returns to where it lives that which traveled the farthest will be the longest. Next time if you want to avoid that simply angle your cut upwards to the outside a tad. By doing so you will be able to get a more gentle perimeter or even a blunt straight across cut. You will need to experiment with the angle to find the right one so be conservative. Cut once, comb and examine twice.

I don't know, but I think she may have wanted the curved, rather than blunt, ends? The last couple of times I took it upon myself to self-trim this was how I did it and for the purpose of having these ends.

With my hair, it makes it easier to do more upstyles with the tapered ends rather than the blunt.

I think the trim looks really nice - great job!

Yes I was going for the v shape hemline, its easier to tuck the ends for my like that because of how thick my hair is. Blunt ends dont work well with my updos :)

I think it looks a little uneven, too.
